yes!! finally the venue for the gintama bday event has decided!!!
as most know, ive searched, and called many places that we could possibly do this. (auburn garden was such a pain...i called them but they were very rude...-"- i dont wanna call them anymore...)
after i hear how hot Saturday is on the news, i have started looking at indoor studio space that we could use. (i hate heat...im sorry. heat + cosplay = death)

this is not a very....gintama like place...but its indoors, we could possibly get out from the heat (ive asked him on email if theres aircon...*cross fingers*) close to city (it says 1min walk from central! yay!) and yeh it looks awesome!!! :D
the deal is, its $300 + GST for the large room. (he said that the space is free during the day. he didnt specify the time...)
so far on the list theres 20 people. i would like to know who would still be interested in joining in!! (it would b $16.50 per person if its divided by 20people)
im sorry how this is not a free event again...but its so hard to find other places that we could cosplay in a large number of people in sydney for free... ;_; plz forgive ginchan...

Reborn themed bday event (yukis)
me and yuki was discussing about the location for this too...we were saying how it would b cool if theres a place that looks semi-futuristic like the 10yrs later arc
we were saying mayb at darling hbr. the platform-ish area at the exhibition center. (but then we were also ranting how that area is a bit over used, slight chance of us getting kicked out, traumatised of wet weather (coz yuki calles herself the "rain girl") etc
i then suggested her if we could possibly hire a studio....

if everyone is happy for chipping in for the fee, traveling to there, happy with the studio itself lol, and if theres still a vacancy with the studio, we could possibly use it for our reborn photoshoot!
i did a calculation to get the approx cost per person.
its $65 per hr + 10% saturday surcharge + GST. last time i contacted them they told me theres student discount (10%)
so say if we hired for 5hrs, and if all of us (20people) could chip in it would b less than $20 per person. ($17.85) (am i correct?? LOL)
so yeh it would b great to get response from u guys asap so i could start giving calls to studios and restaurants etc XD

Yuki and I have been discussing about organising a big Reborn group cosplay gathering. (just like last years reborn picnic thing) She wants to have as many characters as we could from the 10 years later arc. (eg 14yrs old or 24yrs old Vongola group, Milfiore group, 10yrl Varia etcetc)
Just wondering who would be interested being part of this....we are planning to have the gathering/photoshoot/party on 14th November, Saturday. (its Yuki's Birthday!!!!)

I called Wagaya today, but unfortunately it is fully booked. The room would only be available from 10:30. ;_; mayb next time then!!! (unless we go there after for the drinks lol)

Ive never been but I hear good stuff. The interior looks like a typical Japanese Izakaya, you take off shoes before you enter! (so make sure u wont wear sox with a hole LOL)
